I Slept In A Comfy Bed!

I love sleeping. It’s one of my favorite things. In my dreams, no one shouts “Leave it!” when I chase a squirrel. The bed I had in a thing called “Deluxe Accommodations” was so soft and cozy that I spent a lot of time chasing dream squirrels. Even though it isn’t quite the same as sleeping on Tall Bed directly on top of my humans, it really was nice.

I Got Attention!

The humans who took care of me were so nice. They kept coming in to cuddle me and told me I was the most beautiful dog in the world. I know they probably say that to all the dogs, but it was really nice to hear. I don’t know how they knew, but the humans even scratched my favorite spot behind my ears. I got kisses and hugs, too. I don’t know if you’ve had kisses and hugs before, but I highly recommend them. They even played with me and walked me and took me out to run. They didn’t let me chase squirrels, though. I guess that’s a human thing?  Even though I missed my humans and didn’t understand why “wedding” took them away, I felt safe and loved the whole time.

I Loved the Ambiance!

The room I stayed in was so nice. The humans made sure to keep it at the perfect temperature so I didn’t get too hot or too cold. There was music playing in the background that made me feel relaxed, kind of like when my humans talk into their pocket robots and say “Siri, play soothing dog music.” Everyday one of the humans came to make sure everything was nice and clean. The only way it could be nicer was if each room came with a squirrel.

I Ate Food!

A long, long time ago my relatives were wolves. They knew how to find food for themselves. But now that I’m a dog, it’s hard for me to know what’s good and safe to eat unless my humans are around to help me. Even though my humans were stuck far away at “wedding”, these other humans came in to give me my normal food at my normal meal times. Talk about service! I wonder what squirrels taste like.

I Got a Bath!

Before my humans were freed from the evil “wedding,” my new human friends gave me a bath. Because I was there for so long, my humans didn’t have to pay for it. I just got it for free! I looked so fresh and clean and when my humans saw me, I could tell I really AM the most beautiful dog in the world. I was happy to be reunited with my humans, but they still have this hangup about squirrels. I’ll try to work on it with them.

Board Your Dog with American Boarding Kennel

The magic place I went to was called American Boarding Kennel. I heard my humans say it is one of Minnesota’s oldest family-owned and operated boarding facilities, and that humans have been trusting them with the care of their pets for over 37 years! Do you know how long that is in dog years? They have over five locations in Burnsville, Montgomery, Edina, Wayzata, and Long Lake. If you have human hands, call them at (952) 894-5100 or visit them online at www.americanboardingkennel.com.
